WWW: I found accurate objects which closely represents the formats of the shapes above and i found good lighting to capture these.
EBI: I should have photoshopped them to make them black and white in order to math the original shapes better.

Layer
WWW: I think i really managed to capture the scenery for layers and i took pictures of building with many different colours whilst including some nature.
EBI: I should have added more variety for my shapes of the composition.
Framing the environment
Task 1 Look at the work of John Divola and create an artist section on your weebly demonstrating an understanding of his work. Analyse three of his images in full Task 2 Using the frame template provided go around school and photograph your chosen environment using the square as a means of capturing interesting detail. In addition to using the template try photographing through windows and doors to create a frame around your chosen area of interest. Use the work of John Divola as inspiration
Original
My response
In the 1970s, Los Angeles photographer John Divola began photographing in abandoned, often dilapidated houses. With his series Vandalism (1973–75) and Zuma (1977–78), however, he didn’t just photograph houses. Here, Divola describes how he manipulated the environments with painting and other interventions as a way of “vandalizing the tradition of photography.”
WWW: I think this task went well because i really managed to capture the environment around me in my frame perfectly.
EBI: I should have taken pictures of buildings with some vandalism to crate a more accurate representation.

Reflection

My response
WWW: I photoshopped the picture perfectly to create the illusion of a reflection
EBI: I should have taken pictures of different buildings with more lights to create a better reflection and more variety.
The formal elements
Description
Formal elements, a term used by artists/art critics traditionally within the fine arts, to refer to the elements within a composition and generally include the following: line, tone, pattern, texture etc. The Formal Elements are the parts used to make a piece of artwork. The art elements are line, shape, form, tone, texture, pattern, colour and composition. They are often used together, and how they are organised in a piece of art determines what the finished piece will look like.

Development 1
Thomas Struth
For my development I chose to photograph the city. The first photographer I looked at for inspiration is Thomas Struth.
Thomas Struth is a German photographer who is best known for his Museum Photographs series, family portraits and black and white photographs of the streets of Düsseldorf and New York taken in the 1970s. Struth lives and works in Berlin and New York.
My Response

My Response
These were my responses to Rodney Grahams work, these pictures were taken at parkland walk and Creighton avenue these are the pictures before they were edited and after they were edited.
WWW: I managed to find big trees which closely represented the artists image
EBI: I could have tried to find a better background with more nature surrounded instead of having man made stuff included like the cars.
Development 3
Ansel Adams
Ansel Easton Adams was an American landscape photographer and environmentalist known for his black-and-white images of the American West. He helped found Group f/64, an association of photographers advocating "pure" photography which favored sharp focus and the use of the full tonal range of a photograph.
My Response
These pictures were taken when I was away on holidays in Cornwall
WWW: I managed to Catch a wide landscape with all the right angles.
EBI:The quality isn't that good, I could have taken more pictures in order to get the quality I want.
Development: Wild Concrete
After photographing more expansive environments I decided to focus on smaller details. Living in the city there are many opportunities to photograph nature reclaiming the built environment.

Final Piece:
I am going to print these out in different sizes and put them all on one page to create an effect. This final piece really inspired me as it got me to explore the different elements of nature and to appreciate it around me. I found most of these pictures in my garden and also in public places like Creighton avenue.
